Studio Policies
Welcome to Camp Pendleton Academy of Dance! Our policies are designed to create a safe, positive, and organized environment for all dancers and families. By enrolling, you agree to the following policies:
Registration & Enrollment

All dancers must be registered through the Prosody Parent Portal.

A $25 registration fee is required per family to secure enrollment.

Registration fee is non-refundable
-
Enrollment is confirmed once approved by the studio and payment is received.

Class placement is based on age and skill level. The studio reserves the right to recommend alternate placement when appropriate.
Tuition & Payments
-
Tuition is billed monthly unless otherwise stated.
-
Payments are due on the 1st of each month.
-
A $15 late fee will be applied to accounts with outstanding balances after the 6th of the month.

Tuition is non-refundable, except in the case of official military orders. Documentation may be required.
-
Prorated tuition may be available for mid-month starts at the studio’s discretion.
Withdrawal & Enrollment Changes

Requests to withdraw or pause enrollment must be submitted in writing.
-
Tuition obligations remain until confirmation of withdrawal is provided by the studio.

Accounts will continue to be billed if written notice is not received.
Attendance & Make-Up Classes
-
Regular attendance is important for dancer progress.
-
Please notify the studio of absences when possible.
-
Make-up classes are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.

No refunds or credits are given for missed classes.
Dress Code
-
Dancers must arrive in proper dance attire for their class style.
-
Hair should be neat and secured away from the face.
-
Appropriate footwear is required for each class.
-
Specific recital or performance attire will be communicated in advance.
Studio Etiquette
-
Please arrive on time and pick up dancers promptly after class.

Parents are not permitted inside the classroom during instruction. Designated viewing areas may be used when available.

Only enrolled dancers are permitted in class unless otherwise stated.
-
Parents and siblings should remain respectful of class spaces.
-
Cell phones and recording devices are not permitted to record classes unless prior approval is given by the studio.

CPAOD is a positive environment—kindness and respect are expected from all students and families.
Safety & Behavior
-
The studio reserves the right to remove a dancer from class for disruptive or unsafe behavior.
-
Repeated behavior issues may result in dismissal without refund.
-
Dancers must follow instructor directions at all times.
Recitals, Performances & Camps
-
Participation in recitals and performances is optional unless noted.
-
Costume and performance fees are non-refundable once ordered.
-
Camp registrations are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
Photography & Media Release
-
CPAOD may photograph or record classes, events, or performances for promotional purposes.
-
Enrollment grants permission for use unless written notice is provided.
Lost & Found
-
Lost items are placed in the studio’s lost & found.
-
Unclaimed items may be donated after a reasonable period.
Communication
-
Studio communication is sent via email, Prosody notifications, and official CPAOD platforms.
-
It is the family’s responsibility to keep contact information up to date.
